Frequently Asked Questions
How do I switch between Degrees and Radians?
You can toggle the mode using the DEG/RAD button at the top left of the keypad. The current mode is displayed on the screen.
What advanced functions are supported?
We support standard trigonometric functions (sin, cos, tan) and their inverses (asin, acos, atan), as well as logarithms (log, ln), exponentials (e^x), powers, roots, and factorials.
How do I use the memory buttons?
Currently, this scientific calculator focuses on direct calculation flow. We are working on adding dedicated memory storage keys (M+, MR) in a future update.
Can I edit my previous calculation?
Yes, you can use the Backspace (DEL) key to correct mistakes. You can also view your calculation history in the sidebar and click any result to use it again.
Is this calculator suitable for engineering?
Absolutely. It covers the core set of functions required for most engineering, physics, and advanced mathematics coursework.
Can I perform matrix calculations?
Currently, this calculator focuses on scalar functions. For matrix operations (determinants, multiplication), please use our upcoming Matrix Calculator tool.
Is it accurate?
Yes, we use high-precision floating-point arithmetic standard in modern web browsers (IEEE 754), suitable for most scientific and engineering tasks.
