Which format is best for Instagram?
JPG is the best format for Instagram. While Instagram supports PNG, it converts them to JPG during upload, which can cause unexpected color shifts. We recommend converting to JPG at 90% quality with a width of 1080px (the optimal Instagram resolution) before uploading.
